Özet

It has not yet been answered whether the Faculties of Divinity in Turkey, theologians and thoughts produced by them are open to debate and to what extent they can be discussed. In order to answer this questions, some important stages of development and change in Islamic sciences should be remembered and analyzed. This article aims to deal, in brief, with some significant points concerning this matter.
