The aim of thisstudy is to analyse the improving process of rural tourism under the content of globalization since its beginning. At this
point, concerned literature is scanned and the improving process is questioned. In this study the examples of this process in Turkey and in the
world are given. This study has significance by indicating the importance of rural tourism and it is important to rise the awereness and
attention of tourists to that kind of tourism.
